🏵 Khichuri is known :

Khichuri is very familiar delicious and healthy food in Bangladesh. There is hardly any Bengali person who does not like eating Khichuri. Bengali is a food lover, no doubt about it. Seasonal foods are added to the taste buds as the taste in our mouths changes with the seasons. Such as roasted khichuri in winter or rain, fried eggplant and chutney makes our mind strong. Now this autumn is not bad if khichuri in the wet wet sky.

🏵 Mother said about khichuri:

I told my mother to teach me how to cook khichuri . Then all he told me was basmati rice, mug masur / ankar dal, cumin powder, red chilli powder, powder, ginger paste, cummins, green chilli (chopped), hot spice powder, potato (chopped), tomato (chopped). , Cauliflower (chopped), peas, eggplant (chopped), carrot (chopped), oil, sugar, salt.
These ingredients are mixed one after the other in a proper way to make a very tasty and healthy food khichuri. I was a bit surprised because a lot of ingredients have to be mix here.

🏵 My family members said to me :

Everyone in the house was very happy with my khichuri cooking. Other members of my household also gave me a lot of advice on how to cook khichuri. Then after listening to everyone I prepared to cook khichuri with the recipe mentioned in the book.

🏵 Khichuri Recipe Ingredients :

We cook and eat khichuri only when it feels good. So how do I make delicious  and healthy khichuri -

Ingredients:

Basmati Rice – 200 gram
Moog / Masoor / Anker Dal – 200 gram
Cumin Powder – 2 tea spoon
Red Chili Powder – 1 tea spoon
Powder – 1 tea spoon
Ginger Paste – 1/2 tea
Cummins (ingegrate0 – 1 tea
Green Chili (Chopped) – 4/5 pieces
Garam Masala Powder – 1/ 1/2 tea
Potato (Chopped) – 3 large size
Tomato (chopped) – 2 medium size
Cauliflower (chopped) – 1/2
Peas – 100 gram
Brinjal (chopped) – 1 large size
Carrot (Chopped – 2 medium size
Oil – 150 ml
Sugar – 1 tea spoon
Salt – to taste

🏵 How to Cook Khichuri : 

Pour oil to the pan. And warm it for at least two minutes. Wash dal properly and then add it to the pan. Fry the dal for at least three minutes. Then remove them from the pan. Wash rice properly, pour it again oil to the pan, add rice, stir gently for at least five minutes. Then remove from the pan. Last Time pour oil to the pan, ad cumin’s (integrated) to the oils and warm it for two minutes.

Then add chopped potatoes, tomatoes, peas, brinjal, cauliflowers and carrots,. Next add cumin powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger paste, chopped green chilies and chopped onions. And mix well. Fry the mixture for at least three minutes. Add rice and dal to the mixture. Fry the mixture, stir it gently frequently for another two minutes. Pour water (250ml) to the mixture. Add salt and garam masala powder. Put a cover and cook for at least 20/25 minutes (until rice and dal cooked properly).

The favorite delicious Bengali hotchpotch is now ready. serve it hot with omelets.

🏵 Reason why it is good and healthy :

Khichuri has a lot of vegetables which is good for health. So, I like to eat Khichuri. Khichuri has some ingredients which is full of vitamins and proteins and more benefits because

1 / The balance of protein and carbohydrates in khichuri is properly maintained. This is why it is called a full meal. Since khichuri is made from pulses, these pulses are rich in dietary fiber, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and 10 essential amino acids. It is a very good quality food at low cost.

2 / Khichuri is very useful to cut the weakness of the body.

3 / For example, during diarrhea, vomiting, jaundice, fever, etc., playing thin khichuri cuts the physical weakness.

6 / Khichuri increases immunity.

7 / Those who have digestive problems, they can eat khichuri without fear. Khichuri is easy to digest and all children and old people will benefit by eating khichuri.

So, I think it is very good for our health.
